I.Introduction
1.1. Importance of Improving Active Lime Quality
The active lime is one of the most important suplemental raw materials in the production of iron and steel enterprise. Comparing with the ordinary limestone,high-quality lime could greatly improve sinter quality and output,which paves a sound foundation for high-furnace-produced low silicon,low sulphur and stable and high yield in addition to the good coke.High-quality lime used in steel-smelting production could also greatly reduces material consumption of every ton steel, level of residue, iron loss;speeds up the process of slugging and sulphur and phosphonium removal,increases steel water quality,shortens blowing period, which greatly saves steel-smelting cost and more substantial economic benifits.
